Fix the gate first

Automation works best on a gate that already moves freely. Repair rubbing, sagging or worn hinges first.

Take measurements

Note width, height, weight and whether the gate opens inward or outward.

Plan power and cables

A mains supply and ducted cables are needed. Planning the route early avoids extra groundwork.

Choose your controls

Decide who needs access and how: remotes, keypads, intercoms or access control.
